Presented by the New Orleans Film Society and the Consulat Général de France à la Nouvelle-Orléans.

French Film Festival New Orleans 2009

The 2009 French Film Festival took place July 10-12 at the Prytania Theatre and was co-presented by the French Consulate.

Films screened included Summer Hours (L'heure d'ete), A Christmas Tale (Un conte de Noel), A Girl Cut in Two (La fille coupee en deux), Last Year at Marienbad (L'annee derniere a' Marienbad), and Seraphine.

French Film Festival New Orleans 2008

The 2008 French Film Festival took place July 11-13 at the Prytania Theatre and was co-presented by the French Consulate.

Films screened included The Duchess of Langeais, The Red Balloon (Le Ballon rouge) & White Mane (Crin Blanc), Heartbeat Detector (La Question humaine), Private Fears in Public Places  (Coeurs), and The Flight of the Red Balloon (Le Voyage du ballon rouge)

French Film Festival New Orleans 2007

The 2007 French Film Festival took place March 23-25 at the Prytania Theatre and was co-presented by the French Consulate.

Films screened included the powerful and moving Days of Glory (Indigenes), the perplexing thriller The Exterminating Angels (Les Anges Exterminateurs), the dazzling L.627 (from our special guest, acclaimed director Bertrand Tavernier) and the epic masterpiece from Jean-Pierre Melville, Army of Shadows (L’Armee des ombres)
